Charakteristik: Cooperative

Despite the current overstimulated market development, the housing cooperatives are steadfastly pursuing their user-oriented path: for 150 years, they have been renting out their apartments at reasonable long-term fees and offering their members a high degree of stability even in stormy markets. The cooperatives use their community-oriented principles to revitalize the entire new residential areas, be it through innovative mobility concepts or by integrating social facilities into their buildings. By organising themselves into cooperatives, the building users are better able to represent their interests in sustainable building and housing forms or to initiate changes of use. A whole series of ecological settlements use the legal form of the registered cooperative because it offers a good framework for a sustainable way of life.
