{"id":18447,"date":"2017-08-08T13:46:05","date_gmt":"2017-08-08T13:46:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/siedlungen.eu\/?post_type=blog&#038;p=18447"},"modified":"2020-09-20T18:46:52","modified_gmt":"2020-09-20T16:46:52","slug":"18447-2","status":"publish","type":"blog","link":"https:\/\/sdg21.eu\/en\/blog\/18447-2","title":{"rendered":"Six model districts as local drivers for the energy transition"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>With the funding announcement \"<a class=\"RichTextIntLink GCJournal link\" title=\"Research for energy-optimised buildings and districts\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bmwi.de\/Redaktion\/DE\/Pressemitteilungen\/2017\/20170711-gem-pm-stadtquartiere-als-lokale-impulsgeber.html\">Solar building \/ energy-efficient city<\/a>\"Together with the BMWi, the BMBF is providing up to 100 million euros over the next five years for research, development and <span class=\"link-label\">Innovation<\/span> in the field of sustainable urban development.<\/p>\n<p>In the first round of calls for proposals, more than 60 consortia from city administrations, research institutes and companies applied for funding. Of these, the following six were selected:<!--more--><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In <strong>Kaiserslautern<\/strong> show nine partners on the former <strong>Pfaff factory premises <abbr title=\"Incorporated\">AG<\/abbr><\/strong>The project shows how the energy turnaround can be successfully implemented in the neighbourhood with a high proportion of locally generated renewable energy and buildings that are to be renovated, listed and new.<\/li>\n<li>In <strong>Heather<\/strong> (Holstein) develop in the consortium <strong>\"Quarree 100\"<\/strong> twenty partners to find solutions for the deregulation of <a class=\"RichTextIntLink GCTopic link\" title=\"Renewable energies\" href=\"http:\/\/www.bmwi.de\/Redaktion\/DE\/Dossier\/erneuerbare-energien.html\"><span class=\"link-label\">renewable energy<\/span><\/a> and to use it sensibly locally - for example, the waste heat from electrolysis plants for the heat supply of existing buildings.<\/li>\n<li>In <strong>Oldenburg<\/strong> wants the project <strong>\"ENaQ - Energetic Neighbourhood\".<\/strong> In addition to electricity, heat and electromobility, it is above all the actors and users who must be networked with each other.<\/li>\n<li>In <strong>Zwickau<\/strong> is realized by a consortium of 13 partners in the project <strong>\"ZED\"<\/strong> an <strong>Zero Emissions Quarter<\/strong>which is intended to show how apartments can be supplied in a future-proof and affordable manner on the basis of electrical-thermal composite systems.<\/li>\n<li>In <strong>Esslingen<\/strong> the climate-neutral <strong>Urban quarter \"<a href=\"http:\/\/sdg21.eu\/db\/power-to-gas-quartier-esslingen\">ES-West P2G2P<\/a>\u201c<\/strong> enable the cross-sectoral use of regenerative electricity surpluses through a network of innovative technologies. In the process, the district will be linked to the city's mobility concept via electric buses, for example.<\/li>\n<li>The project \"<strong>City Quarter 2050<\/strong> - Solving Challenges Together\" will demonstrate in two southern German neighbourhoods how innovative building solutions can contribute to social compatibility in tight housing markets.
