As of 2020, nearly 130 adults and 70 children live here together in a vibrant neighborhood. Completion: 2020<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong><div class=\"su-spacer\" style=\"height:20px\"><\/div>Project data<\/strong><br \/>\n76 apartments and 12 commercial units<br \/>\nApartments: 41 to 150 sqm in size, from 1-room apartment to 7-room apartment.<br \/>\nLiving space: 6,900 m\u00b2<br \/>\nCommercial space: 400 m\u00b2<br \/>\nIn addition, there are common rooms with approx. 120 m\u00b2 and storage areas with approx. 300 m\u00b2. The residents also have access to a multi-purpose building with a floor area of approx. 500 m\u00b2, which still needs to be extended.<br \/>\nProperty area: 22,000 m\u00b2<\/p>\n<p>One third of the apartments is <strong>accessible<\/strong> accessible.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ecological building and living<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Energy and building materials<\/strong><br \/>\n- Heating\/hot water preparation via a 400 kW pellet system<br \/>\n- KfW70 standard<br \/>\n- The insulation was originally intended to be a wood construction with soft wood fibre board and cellulose blow-in insulation. For fire protection reasons (building class 4), this could not be implemented. Blow-in insulation made of rock wool was used. However, the roofs above the living areas were insulated with cellulose blow-in insulation, also because of the summer thermal insulation).<br \/>\n- where possible, wood was used as a building material (windows, floors, dormer cladding, window reveals)<br \/>\n- On the main building there is a photovoltaic system with 29,58 kWp of the B\u00fcrgerenergiegenossenschaft Ilmtal eG.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Open space design and species protection, everyday ecology<\/strong><br \/>\n- in the management of the 22,000 m<sup>2\u00a0<\/sup> large property, a great deal of importance is attached to sustainability and nature conservation. A meadow orchard has been planted, communal gardens are used by the cooperative tenants and a conservation area for a protected orchid species has been integrated into the park-like grounds.<br \/>\n- numerous nesting boxes for swifts, sparrows and bats were installed on the facade<br \/>\n- the sharing and exchange of everyday objects and vehicles is actively practised<\/p>\n<p><strong>Construction and rental costs<br \/>\n<\/strong>21 million \u20ac investment sum for the acquisition, planning and conversion of the residential complex including the redesign of the outdoor facilities<\/p>\n<p>The usage fees range (as of 2\/2021) between \u20ac 5.60 (commercial) and \u20ac 8.70 (residential) cold. In addition, there are ancillary costs of \u20ac 1.90\/m\u00b2.<\/p>\n<p>All residents contribute their share of the cooperative's own share of the construction costs with a deposit of
