The housing estate in Wei\u00dfensee is the second largest housing estate of GeWoS\u00fcd. It was built in the years 1927-29 in four construction phases on previously undeveloped farmland. The architects were Jakobus Goettel, Alfred Wiener, Hans Jaretzki and Werner Berndt. The complex is designed as a perimeter block development, which allows for generously landscaped inner block areas.<\/p>\n

Energy and climate protection<\/strong>
\nAfter the energetic redevelopment, the renewal of the energy supply of the housing estate took place in 2009\/2010.
