Through the addition of wooden construction elements, the old 'barracks' (built in 1952 \/ 1953) become 'proud' houses. Four houses with a total of 24 residential units are demolished and replaced by five city villas and an extension to the new building from 1969. This new building also houses the energy centre with combined heat and power (natural gas) and a rainwater harvesting system. 96 % of the previous tenants were living in the estate again after completion of the redevelopment.<\/p>\n
