The housing estate was built with the support of the state subsidy programme \"resource-saving building\". Completion: ~1999<br \/>\n<!--more--><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: Arial,Helvetica;\"><strong><b>Location \/ Address<br \/>\n<\/b><\/strong>In the M\u00f6llner Doktorhof area, ten minutes walk to the city centre, between Lankauer Weg and the street \"Doktorhof\".<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Private <\/b><strong>Residential and play street<\/strong><br \/>\nThe loose division of the houses into small groups creates spatial situations that are intended to encourage the residents to come into contact with each other. The children can meet on the private residential and play street, which was designed on the basis of classic village residential structures. Important to the architects are retreats into the private sphere, through gardens and terraces that are protected from view. The play street is only used by residents.<\/p>\n<p><b>Ecology<\/b><br \/>\nLow-energy standard with controlled ventilation. Optional: heat recovery<br \/>\nWood frame construction of the company Heckmann, ecological building from Hamm<br \/>\nSparing development to avoid soil sealing.<br \/>\nRainwater infiltration.
