In addition to areas for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.erlangen.de\/desktopdefault.aspx\/tabid-1338\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Business<\/a> and housing, the University of Nuremberg-Erlangen was expanded on this site. A district park linked to a nature reserve completes the mix of uses from living, working, learning and leisure. Projects: At the western edge of the area, 247 apartments were realized on 6 ha within the framework of the subsidy program for inexpensive, ecological and social housing by the Supreme Bavarian Building Authority (Settlement Models Bavaria) according to a concept largely free of parking spaces (neighborhood parking garage).<\/p>\n<p>The four-storey row of buildings closes off the new R\u00f6thelheimpark quarter to the Hartmannstrasse running past. Most of the 31 residential units are 2- and 3-room maisonettes - small \"houses within a house\". The lower maisonettes each have a small, private garden, the upper ones a roof terrace. This creates living qualities similar to those of one's own home, even in multi-storey housing.
