\nThe \u00d6kostation Freiburg is an ecological model house with unusual architecture. A near-natural garden area with organic garden and herb garden invite you to visit. The \u00d6kostation organises series of events, seminars and workshops for the public. In cooperation with competent partners we develop innovative and attractive projects for environmental education and sustainable development. As an extracurricular place of learning, the Ecostation offers a variety of opportunities to get to know nature and the environment in a practical way and to acquire skills in the sense of education for sustainable development. 15,000 visitors per year experience the offers of the Ecostation. 600 events are held per year. In 2016, the Ecostation was awarded a variety of activities as part of the Decade of Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) and currently as part of the World Action Programme as a place of learning.
