"Eulachhof" Oberwinterthur. The first zero-energy residential development in Switzerland is being built on the Sulzer site with two five-story structures plus a parapet floor, as well as four two-story annexes with space for shops and loft apartments (136 rental apartments in total). The passive energy balance is achieved thanks to the use of special solar glass, photovoltaic systems and other energy and structural measures. The construction costs for the apartments, which will be ready for occupancy in autumn 2007, amount to around CHF 55 million.
