Traffic Model settlement for car-free living in NRW. The residents of the settlement do their daily journeys by bicycle or on foot. The prerequisite for this is good accessibility to shopping facilities, doctors, bus stops, kindergartens and schools. Should it nevertheless be necessary to use a car - for example to transport larger loads - the residents of the estate have the option of renting vehicles from the local car-sharing company at a reduced rate.
