D - 28217 Bremen: With the development of the 15-hectare former Kelloggs factory site on the south side of the Europahafen, a new mixed urban quarter is to be created in Bremen in the immediate vicinity of the city centre and directly on the Weser. It is to be lively, safe, healthy and ecological. An urban, diverse urban development structure is to be created there: In addition to various residential offerings, especially for families, there will be office and commercial space, schools and daycare centers, recreational facilities, and public spaces. Modern ecological mobility and energy concepts and sophisticated architecture define the image of the quarter. The desire is for an innovative quarter with green roofs, low energy consumption and largely CO2-neutral supply. Planned start of construction: 2021, planned completion: ~2031
