29525 Uelzen: According to the plans of the painter and architect Friedensreich Hundertwasser, the old brick building was redesigned into a colourful work of art during the EXPO 2000. Completion: 2000

Since June 1997, Stadtwerke Uelzen has operated what was then the largest roof-integrated PV system in northern Germany, with a total of 100 kWp. Environmentally friendly energy production is an important component of the Umweltbahnhof.
