Saving of drinking water, water-saving sanitary technology, reuse of rainwater and grey water in immersed trickling filters and constructed wetlands on building facades (so-called vertical sump).

Operational experience: The vertical greywater treatment plant on the facade in the courtyard of Block 103 has been shut down. However, the trickling filter system in a cellar has been working perfectly for over 10 years (information from Thorsten Schütze, Hamburg May 2006).
