SOS Village Community Grimmen

18507 Grimmen-Hohenwieden: Living, working and spending leisure time together - this is the concept of the SOS Village Community Grimmen-Hohenwieden. In four house communities with a total of 32 places, in the external training living with 25 places in eight apartments, in the outpatient assisted living as well as in the nine working areas of the workshop for disabled people (WfbM), people with learning and thinking impairments are welcome and are accompanied and supported.

The various workshops as well as the agriculturally used buildings and areas are located in the immediate vicinity of the residential houses. A small village has been created, presents itself lively and has an outward effect. The SOS village community is part of the town of Grimmen. The town centre can be reached quickly and easily via a well-developed footpath and cycle path. The QUH farm shop café, the many invitations to festivals and various cultural events create changing occasions to come to Hohenwieden.
