The Linz architect Fritz Matzinger has designed a series of housing estates that can be interpreted for the concept of action settings in architecture. Based on a program of living together in manageable communities, Fritz Matzinger designs residential environments that allow for "casual and consciously intended encounters between residents". Matzinger's office is in Leonding near Linz in Austria.
