• • Fredensgade, Kolding: 129 sq. ft. Biowerk "Living Machine" glasshouse. Grey waters are used for plant and fish breeding. The Living Machine is located in the middle of a redeveloped residential block. Redivision of the interior of the block. Open space planning with the constructed wetland and the "Biowerk". Block interior car-free. Indoor climate improved, used or recycled materials, separation of demolition material. Passive solar energy use through conservatories, building gap closure with glazed intermediate building elements, rooftop greenhouses. Water and energy-saving installations in kitchens and bathrooms. Conversion of the district heating supply to low-temperature operation. Improved thermal insulation, solar panels on roofs, photovoltaics on carport roofs inside the block for future solar cars. 50% Rainwater harvesting for toilet flushing. Solar wastewater treatment. Rainwater infiltration on paths. Stream, ponds and living fences, native planting. Waste separation, organic waste composting. Preservation of the existing building fabric
