In Europe, a number of large housing estates and districts have been built using the PlusEnergy construction method. It is also possible to implement such energy concepts in multi-storey residential buildings in densely built-up urban areas, as the Active Townhouse demonstrated in Frankfurt. In the two exhibitions with show houses in plus-energy construction in Cologne-Frechen and above all also in Wuppertal PlusEnergy houses are available and can be viewed at all well-known prefabricated house providers. With the clear solar power surplus of buildings, settlements and quarters in PlusEnergy construction, a decoupling from the rising energy prices is possible and Pedelecs, CargoBikes and electric vehicles can be permanently operated in a cost-effective and environmentally friendly way.
